Words of Advice on Building a Boat

When my dad and I began this project we didn't know how it would turn out or what we would learn along the way. Throughout our time we gained new skills that could help us further this hobby and fuel other creative interests. Through the building process, we faced plenty of confusion and mishaps, which although was frustrating, were apart of the learning process. Looking back on the project there are many thoughts we can take back. To me this was more than just a boat, it wants just a quartile project. To me it was a responsibility, buying the right tools and building the right way was apart of that responsibility. Taking on this task was a responsibility in itself. Completing this boat furthers my craftsmanship and I hope to pursue this hobby throughout my life. To those who wish to take up a hobby, similar to mine I leave you with the thought of determination. This build to me was something as I said before very frustrating, but if you have the desire to complete the build you will pass through all the trials and tribulations this project can throw at you. Its key to remember this boat is more than a boat, but a responsibility
